For those that are not diagnosed with major depression, I do believe that it is a choice to be happy or sad. We have the capacity to control our emotions. It's what you think about that determines what you are going to feel. Stay positive!
The following tips might help you feel better:
- Get more exercise
- Maintain good sleep habits
- Seek out activities that bring you pleasure
- Volunteer or get involved in group activities
- Talk to someone you trust about how you are feeling
- Try to be around people who are caring and positive
